I am using the Browse function in the Myspace search page and searching under people who went to La Mirada High school. This generally targets the age group of the assailants that we are trying to find (17 – 25). This has turned up at least 300+ people not all of which are relevant. (For example it is a waste of time to send the message to someone living in La Mirada, Georgia). La Mirada is the beginning, after exhausting the La Mirada area move on to neighboring cities like Whittier, Downey, or Brea. I am willing to bet that the assailants or somebody that knows the assailants has a Myspace account and will receive a message from one of us if we put in the effort.

A note on creating a message to send:
1. Personalize your message, don’t just cut and paste my message. There is a good chance that there will be overlap and they have already seen my message and will think it is just spam.
2. In the subject line write their name. For ex. Hello (name) or Dear (name). This may create a more responsive reception from the reader.
3. Make sure the link to the helpliberty page, article, or news story is correct.
4. Make sure you mention the reward.
