A Divine Personality
Posted by ShaliniJaswal on August 23rd, 2007 filed in libertyIn the past few weeks I have been in and out of a deep state of thought. Little things that never occured to me have started to spark questions in my mind. The other day I was listening to the spiritual channel hearing what renounced yogi’s and swami’s who are spiritual guides have to say. Each and every one of these yogi’s seem to have an understanding of great scriptures and could lecture people on how to live their life, however, not once have i noticed someone who has a yearning to help all creatures, great and small, nature, the planet and the people. Great sages can go into the forest and meditate for years on end but can they meditate by protecting the environment and the species? Liberty was a truly selfless person whose compassion cannot be put into words, it goes beyond that of great sages. Liberty’s divine personality went beyond religion, culture, and boundaries. He was never bound by lines that drew people apart yet he worked to erase lines and borders and bring people closer to people, the earth and the animals living on it. His approach was very reasonable and practical. There is a lot to learn from the way Liberty led his own life. If anyone would ask me how I have changed in the past few years since I had met Liberty I could come up with a list of a thousand things. He had things figured out in all aspects of life. The interesting thing is that there are still so many things that I am learning. It is something about a Divine Personality that leads not by lecturing but by his own actions and conduct that inspire all who cross his path.
