Liberty’s Example to me

I met Liberty exactly 2 years ago from yesterday at a Halloween party. I’ve been thinking a lot about him lately and was feeling angry.  Angry that I won’t get a chance to hang out with him, have lunch with him, go to parties…but most of all that I wouldn’t get the chance to learn more about him and learn more from him.  But the more I thought about it I realized I am still learning from him. Everyday I try to look to his example to be a better person, to be kinder to those around me, and to show compassion and keep an open mind. I want to thank Jake for the challenge to be vegetarian for the month of September; it is something I have continued and will continue to do. It is yet another example of how Liberty has touched my life and how I can follow his example.  i’m so thankful to have met him that night 2 years ago and to still have him a part of my life in some way to this day.
