Tribute to “Agent of Darwin”

James Alvarez, a long time friend of Liberty, honored Liberty forever on his arm in the form of a tattoo. All those who knew Liberty are likely aware of Liberty’s passion for reason. Liberty was a strong believer in evolution and embraced our species’ connection to the natural world. Liberty was also very interested in primates, and was a passionate supporter of the Great Ape Project which is a movement to give great apes ”rights” so they cannot be used for animal testing of any kind (for more info see www.greatapeproject.org). Liberty’s “myspace” handle was even called “Agent of Darwin”. In light of this, James memorialized Liberty’s passion for rational thought and action with this great tattoo.

Thank you all for your wonderful tributes to Liberty.
So many people continue to keep Liberty’s spirit alive. Although I don’t always thank you folks in writing, I am very greatful and thankful. You all are always in my heart. All of Liberty’s friends who truly understand him and continue to carry on his legacy. I think he came into our lives to teach people and help them understand at every level. His last day he spent a lot of time at the kitchen counter talking to his Mom, Liberty said, “Mom I want to help more people” He was passionate about helping people and still wanted to help more. Liberty’s work truly showed that one person can make a difference because his light of consciousness sparked a flame of awakening in many around him.

Tight tattoo James. I bet Liberty is smiling right know feeling the love from you and your memorial tattoo. Eternal blessings, love and respect to all who keep Liberty in their hearts. We meet great souls and encounter them in this life,and even after their parting the phisical body they never leave us, because they are a permannent part of our conciosness. Liberty will always be a part of all of us who had the honor and privilage of meeting and knowing him. Liberty and his selfless desire to help create a better world will always inspire and guide me. Revolutionaries give thanks and praise for the meetings of all wise souls. Blessed love dearest Liberty. Blessed love to all my sisteren and bretheren. Give Thanks
